W. Heath Giles, MD

Dr. Giles, board certified through the American Board of Surgery (ABS), specializes in general and endocrinology surgery. He completed a fellowship in endocrine surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School that is ranked as one of the world’s best specialized hospitals for endocrinology by Newsweek.

Dr. Giles joined University Surgical Associates in August 2012. His scope of practice includes special emphasis on robotic and foregut surgery.

Dr. Giles sees patients at USA Medical Mall (inside Erlanger downtown) on Tuesdays from 8:30 – 11:30 am, and at USA Gunbarrel (beside Erlanger East hospital) on Thursdays from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Dr. Giles performs surgery at Erlanger Hospital, CHI Memorial Hospital, and Parkridge Hospital.

Dr. Giles is a professor of surgery, Department of Surgery, and General Surgery Residency Program Director for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga.
