Dr. Alan Hyde – Proctologist & Colorectal Surgeon in Chattanooga TN

Dr. Hyde is a board-certified colorectal surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for both colorectal cancer and benign colorectal conditions.
After completing his general surgery residency in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he pursued advanced fellowship training in colorectal surgery through Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he received specialized training in colorectal surgical oncology.  This unique background has fostered a particular passion for caring for patients with colorectal cancer, combining the latest surgical techniques with individualized treatment plans.
In addition to cancer care, Dr. Hyde provides comprehensive treatment for a wide range of benign colorectal disorders, including diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal conditions, and other diseases of the colon and rectum. He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while partnering closely with each patient to achieve the best possible outcomes.
