Dr. Chace Hicks – Diverticulitis, Biliary Disease, Hernia Repair, Traumatic Brain Injury

Dr. Chace Hicks is a board certified general surgeon who specializes in diverticulitis, biliary disease, hernia repair, traumatic brain injury, trauma, acute care surgery and advanced minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted procedures.

A native of east Texas, Dr. Hicks trained in Chattanooga and fell in love with the community. After completing a surgical critical care fellowship in Louisville, he returned to join University Surgical Associates in September 2026.

Dr. Hicks is an assistant professor of surgery, Department of Surgery for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Hicks enjoys spending time with family and his adopted dog, golfing, and fishing.
