L. Richard Sprouse II, MD 

Dr. Sprouse, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and board certified through the American Board of Surgery (ABS), is a vascular and endovascular surgeon. Dr. Sprouse joined University Surgical Associates in 2004.

Dr. Sprouse has office hours at USA's Surgical Specialties Building Monday (10:30 am – 1 pm * first, third, and fifth Mondays * and 1:30 – 5 pm), and at USA's Hixson office on the second and fourth Monday (8:30-10:30 am).

Dr. Sprouse performs procedures at Erlanger Hospital, the Plaza Surgery Center at Erlanger, CHI Memorial Hospital, Parkridge Hospital and USA's Surgical Specialties Building (SSB).

Dr. Sprouse is an associate professor of vascular and endovascular surgery, Department of Surgery, for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga. He also serves as medical director for USA's Vascular Special Procedures group and is medical director of the Vascular Fellow Program.
