CONTROLLER

Phil serves as the Controller for University Surgical Associates leading the accounting, finance, and IT functions. He has more than eighteen years of healthcare experience and has served in multiple healthcare accounting, finance, and operational roles spanning diverse organizational settings. Phil has worked with over 190 hospitals and 180 other Care Centers to operate efficiently and understand the financial aspects of the healthcare business. His experience includes accounting, finance, financial planning, human resources, and information technology. He has been a part of an internal divisional startup inside a Fortune 500 company; part of a Strategic Tax spinoff and Day One employee of a publicly traded company; and a leader of multiple clinical, accounting, financial and human resource software implementations with various organizations. Phil is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a BS in Business Administration concentrated on Accounting and Finance.
